IT STARTED WITH HELPING NEIGHBORS

Scott Gilligan's Long Way Around to the Right Way

Before New Tampa Fence was a company, it was Scott Gilligan lending a hand. Scott spent more than 12 years at Orlando Steel, a wholesale fence company, managing the vinyl fence department. Around Wesley Chapel, he was the neighbor you called when a fence needed to be done right.

When a layoff closed one door, those same neighbors opened another. What started as side work to pay the bills grew into New Tampa Fence, incorporated in 2012 and family owned ever since.

Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Florida, but most of what guides this company came from the shop floor. Do the work right. Be straight with people. Stand behind what you build.

Free estimates. Straight answers. A 10 year labor warranty.

We Reject the "It's Just Fencing" Attitude

Fencing is not a prestige trade, and that is exactly why professionalism stands out. Here is what that looks like in practice.

Fabricated In Our Own Shop

We invested in our own CNC routing machine and forklifts so fittings get cut in-house, not outsourced. Rivets are color matched and mounted on the inside, so the outside of your fence stays clean.

A 10 Year Labor Warranty

We stand behind our installs long after the crew drives away. If our workmanship fails you inside ten years, we make it right.

HOA Rules? We Speak Fluent HOA.

Tampa Bay neighborhoods come with guidelines, and we know how to work within them. We help you pick a fence your HOA will approve the first time.

Safety Is the Point

A fence is not decoration to us. It is what keeps kids and pets safe in their own yard, and we build every one like that is the job. Because it is.

COMMUNITY

We're Not Just Out Here to Make Money

This company exists because neighbors trusted us, so giving back is not a marketing line. We donate to firefighter and sheriff’s office funds in Pasco and Hillsborough counties, sponsor youth sports teams, and stay active in the local Chamber of Commerce.

That approach earned New Tampa Fence recognition as Resonant Magazine’s Business of the Month in April 2017, and it is the same approach you get on your job site.
